status quo
I had a goat cheese and red pepper omelette for dinner today, and now I am in a fantastic mood. Goat cheese really makes everything better. And I'm going to start fanaticizing again, really I am. Slowly moving in the right direction.
Of course, I'm about five billion years behind on lj, and at this rate I'll never catch up because I keep getting sucked into reading (against my better judgment) arguments about whether or not you can write a feminist anything if it could possibly be construed as criticism of another woman because it's unfeminist to be mean to women...or something. And then I get all pissed off at everybody who is perpetuating the conversation, on either side, and then I go off and do something else. So if you've shared something deeply relevant on lj lately, I probably haven't noticed. Sorry.
Which is to say that I'm bookmooching furiously, and I got the TwoP book which...meh because, while I do enjoy their particular shtick, I'd just as soon read the archives over at Tomato Nation.
And the football season is dead to me (and I had a really icky dream in which I was dating Peyton Manning, which, ew), but my neighbor tied me down and made me watch Freaks and Geeks, so that's okay. (By the way, is there like any Freaks & Geeks fandom at all? It's not really a fix-it canon, but it's ripe for future-fic.)
Also, Colbert Report + ANTM parodies = OTP. Hee. Off to watch Inside the NFL now because Cris Collinsworth is my seekrit boyfriend (shh!). Laterz.
