More French

I finally received my copy of Assimil French With Ease from Amazon, and was disappointed to have got the newest version, rather than the sturdier 1990s incarnate (the binding and the packaging the new one came in just makes me cringe). However, the content is the same, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

Yeah, it hasn't been updated since the 80s. I'm guessing you've watched it, too? :)

I wish the male lead was as hot as the female lead. I'd be even more motivated to watch it then! I get a kick out of reading some blog posts from previous male FIA learners who claim that their lifelong love for French began with Mireille and her tendency to not wear a bra.

I was going to say 'Mireille without a bra' the first time I commented! I watched them in college and I graduated in 1992 so yeah, it's been a while. My roommate had a thing for Robert. She was odd.
