Music Videos

The music videos thread over at the PK forum has made me want to try making a video, too. I have the song picked out and a the storyboard all done. Now I just need get my hands on the movies and, uh, learn how to actually edit videos.

I was originally just going to use Windows Movie Maker (I didn't even realize it came with XP) which I checked out today. It was all drag-and-drop, so that wouldn't have been a problem, but the handful of available effects just made me sad (although I really liked the "film Age, Old" one). I decided to bum a copy of Adobe Premier Elements off my bf and to use Nandub for the few seconds of film that I want to manip frame-by-frame (I wonder if that's too ambitious for a first project? I guess we'll see).

In other news, I don't have work tomorrow because the schools are closed due to flooding. It figures that this happens on a day when I actually wanted to work.
