So I guess I need to give an explanation as to why I wrote this post in the first place. This year at Mary Ward was, as we all know, my fifth year. Because of this fifth year, there was only a small amount of us that came back, which led to us being closer than all of us were in the four years prior. It's really sad to say goodbye to these people, even though I know that we will be seeing each other again, the circumstances will be different.
In the beginning of the year we knew that this was it for one more year and we worked around it and it worked out just great. In the beginning of the school year we were complete. I remember first day of school Shannon picked me up and as we drove into the student parking lot we saw Calvin playing basketball (alone) and Chris pulling up with his brother beside us. Sooner or later, Lester pulled up. Kane pulled up. Benson got dropped off. Alyssa was late. And this was every morning for a couple months.
Wasabi lunch? Who would forget the day Alyssa first acted like a guy and pretended to "slap my dick on her face"? LOL. Our first fifth year video with the spinning camera phone focusing on Lester.
"Yo, picnic outside" was a occasional thing on a nice day outside.
"Let's run up the hill and breath!"
Debuts, debuts, debuts.
This was the first couple months of Ward, until drama and misunderstandings happened, until people started to leave because of co-op, graduating, etc. We all started to not show up for school... we all had our different to be.
Its always gonna be sad knowing that theres not gona be one place in the world where you know someones gonna be there because this year it was Comm.
Im sorry Im not walking the stage with you guys, but this year was great and I wanted to thank every single one of you for a one of a kind year.

It's been a complete bittersweet year but it's a sweet ending.
