2010: an odyssey
So far, the year has been treating me splendidly, allow me to elaborate...
a. I have been appointed Head of Department of Photography at the design college where I've lectured part-time for the last 2 and a half years. Also, my post has been made permanent since mid January.
b. The design college moved to a beautiful campus closer to my home! I now drive 8km to work instead of 25km.
c. I have completed my master's degree study in photography and will be receiving my post graduate certificate at the graduation ceremony this coming Friday (16th of April).
d. My boyfriend changed jobs to be closer to me and started at his new work beginning of this month at a large tele-communications company's ISP department (they are responsible for the Internet connectivity of SA during FIFA Soccer World Cup here in June/July). I now get to see him every day!
I am very blessed, very lucky and very very happy.
