yeah. $150 later, my lappy's still deader than a really dead thing. my beau roomie supposes that it's the adapter jack itself that's off-kilter, causing the energy to diverted elsewhere...that's causing sparks and molten, dying electrical equipment smell. he said he'd open her to have a look at it.
anydamnway, yeah~ no lappy for me until Spring Break... ;~; and even then, it won't be fully back on campus until ResNet drops a reformat nuke on it to get rid of Vista and give me good ol' fashioned XP. oh Vista. how pretty but horrendously inefficient of you.
