(no subject)
I decided to add to my credit card debt a bit (oh fuck it, why not) with a BPAL order. I cannot wait. I ordered a second bottle of Masabakes (I'm down to just a few precious drops in my first one), plus I took a plunge and ordered expensive bottles of scents that imps aren't available for -- War (from the Good Omens line) and Judith Victorious (from the Salon). Oh, and I got a dozen imps, too. Ye gods. I totally cannot afford this but I have been craving it for so long.
I should to reread Good Omens now... I barely remember it.
I finally saw that TV show Heroes... I'm about halfway through the DVD. Pretty good for television. I can't really come up with anything critical to say about it, so take that as a good sign. I guess.
Old friends are coming out of the woodwork right now. Am I a terrible person for not really caring to see them? It's nothing personal. I just don't really care about keeping in touch. I wish them well in life and will remember them fondly, but what's past is past. I'd rather stay indoors and play videogames. Or drink on the back porch with a few (current) friends.
I also don't care about photographs. My sister-in-law requested some photos of my husband and I for a scrapbook she was making, but we realized that we had none. Just cheesy self-portraits we'd individually taken and thought we'd each deleted. We only have one photo of ourselves from the last 5 years or so, and it was taken at Halloween. We have it framed -- Frankenstein and the Bride of Frankenstein. I just don't care about recording these days for posterity.
I'm just rambling here. I think it's time to be off now. It's beer-o'clock.
ETA-- I made a WoW character named Antoinette. I'm thrilled that the name was actually available. But, oh, it gets better. I plopped down 20g (more than I'd normally spend on a level 18 character) to get her a weapon called a Guillotine Axe. How fucking perfect is that?! Antoinette gets her revenge and kills people with a guillotine blade?! I want to just keep getting bigger and bigger enchants on it so that I can try to extend the life of it as she levels.
