Dont really have time to be writing, especially with this caveman-slow internet we have at home. But I am here anyway so heres what I've been up to...
have come home since I had Tues-Thurs off. Kinda silly, since I am going back to Auburn to work Friday (graduation=mucho $$), then am coming back Saturday morning, or even Friday night perhaps. But I haev enjoyed it here so far. Tuesday was supposed to go to the lake, but I got home too late and the weather was a tad too chilly. So John and I went to Stone Mountain instead, and that was sort of a disappointment, only because 1) There were NO paddle boats like there used to be, and 2) everything cost so much money!! It used to be that you pay the $7 to get in (now its $8), and you could do some stuff for free like ride the train. Well the train was $7 a person, so we didnt do that. Also the skylift was something crazy like $9 a person, so we skipped that too. Instead we jsut explored around, and found this cool water-wheel area where you can sit out on rocks and get a good view of the lake. We also looekd in the candle making and glass blower shops, and went to the 4-D show (which is a 3D show .. where u wear the glasses and all...but they also had stuff like water and wind shooting out at u...pretty cool) Yesterday John and I went to Lake Lanier to rent waverunners.......original plan was to rent out a boat with some other ppl, so we could do tubing and all that fun stuff, but unfortunatly no one else could make it out. He had never been on a waverunner before so it was a lot of fun for both of us. It couldnt have been a more goregous day---very sunny but not too hot, and the lake was practically empty (but still a few boats out there for us to ride their wakes ;) ) The only thing was we had it for 2 hours but were afraid to really go too far out into the lake--I am terrible at navigating lakes, and the renters scared me by telling us that the waverunner was equipped with exactly 2 hours of gas---so we didnt go out too far. But still fun. Last night we went to Jillians cause we had some Jillians cards from last year with $$$ on them...27,000 pts to be exact! We got there at 10:45 when they closed at 12:00, so we had just enough time to do games and earn something like 4000 tickets so we could get this strobe light :) Fun times....also had the best jager I've had in so long, because it was ice cold perfection. Jager is only supposed to be served ice-cold, not chilled...Jillians had it right.
sooooooooooo tonight me and Shannon are going to Athens, and we will stop at Andreas cause she is having a huge end-of-year bash, and then we will head to downtown because Shannon has never gone out, ever!! And oh what fun we have in store. The only bummer is I didnt realize until about an hour ago that---duh, tomorrow is graduation so that means I have to be at work at 10am!! Aghh! I seriously forgot abotu that and had been thinking it was like a normal Friday when I go in a 3pm. But I am still going out, just going to try and take it easy. If I have to go into work hungover (or..god forbid it..still drunk) I will just have to survive. And maybe I'll get fired, which would be a good thing since I've been putting off that whole deal of putting in my 2 weeks. Oh another bummer is John isnt going to meet us up in Athens afterall, cause he has to get up super early tomorrow. So its just a girls night out. So speaking of I need to go get ready NOW
adios!!
