(no subject)
tonight at work....BLECH. Well first off I'll start with earlier today. I went and got a hair cut, and paid extra to have it blow-dried and such (why I chose this, I dont know..cause I was just going to be going to work in a couple hours) I leave and it literally, mid-walk to my car, SPONTANEOUSLY starts POOOOURING down rain. Theres a way to make a Meredith mad. So then I get back and instead of doing anything I should have done, I watched 2 episodes in a row of "next" on mtv. I LOVE!!!!!! that show. and normally I hate dating shows. But this one is just awesome cause the people keep changing. I want to be on the show soooo bad as the girl that gets to next people, I would be such bitch too. haha.
ok so then work was super slow for awhile then I all of a sudden got triple-sat, meaning 3 tables being seated at the same time. Not cool. And one table was of 7 men who just creeped me out. 2 of them came up to me and were like "its this guys birthday, will you bring him a glass of red wine and crumbled saltine crackers, and will you offer to feed them to him?" of course being the courteous server i am, instead of being like WHAT THE HELL (as what was going through my mind!!) I was just like "hahaha thats funny I dont know about feeding them to him but I'll be glad to give those out". so when I did that, they all laughed and acted like it was some inside joke of theirs, like by me giving him the crackers/wine signified that I was coming onto him, or I was some whore. Seriously it was just really weird and i didnt like it at all...i mean they didnt say anything directly that was like whoooaaa......i dunno hard to explain. And they stayed forever. But also, for the last half of the night for some reason I thought it was an hour ahead of what it really was, so I was getting way stressed out when I thought it was 9:30 (we close at 9) and they were still there asking for more beers. I was about to pull out my hair. And I didnt realize about my time difference error until I left, so it was really 9:12 instead of 10:12!! haha im an idiot. But i made good money considering I only had 5 tables. That always rocks.
