(no subject)
A 3 weeks after losing my stepfather to pneumonia (among other factors), Brian is now in the ICU with pneumonia, and an undiagnosed virus (?) that we still can't figure out.
He has been sick for a few days, and we brought him to the ER last night at 9pm. They discovered that he has a secondary infection (not related to the first infection he had earlier in the week) which happened to be the beginning of pneumonia. At 1am they admitted him into the hospital, and by 7 am, he looked ok. The nurses sent me home saying he was stable and I should get some rest.
I'm now sitting in an ICU and he's attached to a breathing machine, 5 hours later.
I'm not a praying person, but if you are, he can use all the help he can get...
