Dear Dick Cheney,
You can't avoid the media and the spotlight for essentially 8 years, going so far as to take your residence off of Google Maps - and then show up in every media outlet that will have you. It looks suspicious. I hate to say it, but I think I liked it better when you were hiding and no one had to hear from you. We all know what you did, and how you conducted the affairs of this country for 8 years - but coming out of the shadows and flailing like an overboard business man on a Booze Cruise isn't helping your case. A better way? Simply pass the buck, and duck away.
You've already started - last week when you brought your old boss into the fray was FANTASTIC! By saying that "he basically knew what was going on, he signed off on it" really just sounds like a desperate attempt at getting a bit more attention, and to cover your own sorry, desperate ass.
