.: my filly :.

I like to write, whether anyone cares to read it or not. I don't quite understand what happened --- but all of my inspiration just went "poof."

In real life ( which I'm not fond of talking of here ) my five-month-old filly is in the Virginia Tech Hospital for colic surgery. We knew she was a little wormy, but had no clue she was so infested. We dewormed her Saturday night, and she coliced the next day. She was just so full of worms that she nearly died from us treating her... We came really close to losing her. It's so expensive to take a horse there, and it's so expensive for surgery... but I just hope she'll be okay. We've only had her three weeks, but how could we not do everything we could to save her? Two choices: A) Spend a lot of money and try to save her life, or B) Save a lot of money and watch her die.

It's no choice at all, really.
