Another Day, Another Champion
Well, yesterday, the Carolina Hurricanes won the Stanley Cup. Today, the Miami Heat won the NBA Championship. Congrats to Shaq for getting it done sans Kobe.
Now they're flipping cars and setting things on fire in Miami.
Oh and Dwayne Wade is the MVP of the NBA Finals.
I had a wild time driving around today. All of a sudden the skies opened up and I couldn't see 5 feet in front of me. Not only that, but I swear I saw and heard hail. I know they said afternoon but this was literally right after noon. They never said anything about hail.
Then I was woken up at 8 p.m. by thunderstorms. I bet my cat was cowering under my bed because she hates thunderstorms.
Romey was awesome today, especially when the Slam Man, Jay Mohr, called in. I've missed the Slam Man.
If any of you are Heat fans, the NBA champions package has already been advertised on ABC. That was fast.
If you collect autographed baseballs, there's one being auctioned that Mickey Mantle signed. The message on it contained the word "cocksucker." Rome says he wants that ball even though he doesn't collect stuff like that.
