I'm smiling next to you...in silent lucidity...

I haven't had a weekend like this one in awhile.

I can't exactly describe everything that's taken place this weekend, but it involved a couple of fundamental changes in how I'm running my life, and what I'm doing to ensure I regain the happiness I once had.

HAHA. The Rocky theme just came on my iPod. How fucking fitting.

Anyways, we went to the Lake County Fair this weekend. It was pretty fun, but kind of slow, and apparently it's been like that all week. There seems to have been a pretty poor turn-out.

I did buy my first non-black tee shirt in a very long time. It's awesome; it's stone colored with a large celtic knotwork cross on the front. I love it. I also gorged myself on delicious fair food.

The rest of the weekend was spent either deciding what I'm going to do about my life, or lazing about playing God with the world in Interactive Physics.

I'm back at work now, which sucks ass. But, the bills have to be paid. We've done a great job on cutting back on unnecessary spending, and the result is that we now have over $2500 in savings, although there are some things that we'll need to send checks in on. It's a good feeling to finally, for the first time in a long time, not have money problems and to have a cushion.

Time for breakfast.
