Real life sucks arse at times...
Talked to my boss - I can't get extra hours since the budget she's been given is only for a half-day staff member, and I don't have enough work to justify being in longer than four hours. I'm also in the job until March or the end of the financial year, whichever comes first. Grrr.
On the bright side, she's having a meeting with the other offices to find out why they haven't been hiring any temps to help them out. Apparently if they don't need to hire anyone, but they still have a heap of work, I may be able to screw some more hours out of NESTA. Which would be good. As I've said, trying to survive on 20 hours a week is bollocks.
This is deeply ironic. Never thought I'd see the day when I was desperate to work, but apparently that's today! But I don't even LIKE working. Anyone who knows me knows this, and yes, I will shut up about it eventually. But my ideal job would preferably involve very few hours for a lot of cash, and a lie-in in the mornings.
So it's prostitution then. ^_^'
