(no subject)
Ok well. I guess I'll start this the way I usually do.
I haven't done one of these in a while...
So yeah, I've got my car on the road, I think I should put a cd player in there, the tape deck just doesn't seem to cut it when all I have is The Offspring Smash, BushX razorblade Suitcase, Moist Creature and the soundtrack to Forest Gump.
I'm working construction for a concrete restoration company with Caylee's dad. That seems to be going well, we just finished a job site, and the boss has been saying for the last week that he's gonna need me somewhere else soon. I think monday will be my last day at that site because we have to clear out all of our equipment, which means multiple drives from Richmond back to Poco and back all day. The great thing about that is, I don't do the driving, so I'll be getting paid to read :)
It's pretty good pay too. my pay cheques when i'm working 40 hours a week are a little over a grand gross. (Last week I worked 47.5) And if I end up having to go to a site without Caylee's dad, I may end up working 10 or so hour days instead of the 8 or little over 8 hour days I'd work with him. That's good, but if I'm not working with him I'm going to have to drive myself into town, and I have no idea where I'm going when it's downtown Vancouver or Richmond.
It was my birthday yesterday and it had a very musical theme. First off, Caylee and I went to the Foo Fighters concert on the 5th, which was absolutely amazing. At the show caylee got me a Foo Fighters "In your honor" t-shirt with a cute buffalo on it. She also got me a new Cobain poster, the Nevermind DVD, the new FooFighters cd, and these wonderbar candies that came in rolo type packages.
My Parents got me tickets to Nine Inch Nails in September :D I'm pretty stoked about that, maybe I should just hibernate till the concert (not bloody likely considering I can't even sleep in past 7:00 am anymore thanks too work.)
I also might get to spend more time with Caylee come September because she got a job as a Vet Assistant in Maple Ridge instead of in "Burquitlam."
So yeah, I guess i'll try to update this thing more often, but well yeah, you know...
