I'm pretty happy with this chapter - it's the first time in a long time that a chapter has just flowed with barely any resistance. And I assure you there will be much angst and hurt still to come in this story ;) Now I must skedattle off to a SPN marathon! We're seeing how many nights it takes to get through the whole season, lol.

*looks up sees two of you* way to go babe, rightous party. that Dean dude was H. O. T. and his brother er cousin whatever very cute but seemed worried and hey what pissed them off and made them leave...the parties just getting started. Hey I need to go, they think they can beat me in a beer shotgun contest...ONE *stabs hole in beer can* TWO *puts mouth over cans hole* THREE *gets ready to open beer* GO! *SNAP*.....
ok the converation with suzie, wildy crazy, too bad Sam couldn't have just taken her over his knee and spanked the crazy brat. And then kidnapped her to keep her from getting up to any more antics. I want to know what her damage is man. what does she think Dean did and how the heck have they been on to sam and dean since they hit town?????
I enjoyed the party, obviously, but can I ask, would Dean really participate in a blood drawing for even a fake seance with what they've been dealing with and knowing he's a marked man and having been attacked. That seemed kinda, off. Is that part of the mystery? I loved that when they found the room with the photos (and hey they don't wait for anything anymore do they, big party, lets kick in some walls) that Dean got pissed when he saw his bro was being threatened, nothing puts Dean into I will kill you all mode more than threatening his Sammny and I love that switch to easy going bemused party goer to hunter. It was also hilarious the way you introduced that scene by opening it with the world of warcraft and dean's actually interested in it. Very funny.
I love your writing hon and enjoyed this, but i did feel like you lost track of the story itself a bit and the guys kinda came out of character for some reason. I think it's because when Sam's working off of actual visions Dean gets hyper alert and stays in job mode and when you add in the very real threat to himself and an awareness of who the bad guy is, I just have a hard time seeing him screw around as much as he did while checking out the other possible threat(seance party) and I don't think they would actually knock down a whole wall with so many people present. It threw me. And I am so sorry if I am out of line mentioning this and if I'm just totally off and missing it completely just tell me. I really enjoyed a lot of this and had a lot of fun. I just am a bit confused as to those issues. *hangs head* i am never comfortable giving feedback that questions stuff. (despite my confusion am still amped to see what happens next. I almost hope Sam doesn't get to stop Dean, but hope even more for some of your special brand Dean whumping)

I get going back after posting and making changes. I posted a little thing and it was just a het pwp, but i hadn't ever written in present tense before and it was kind of an experiment in that. I did it while my beta was out of town. It had been written in a reply post thread on a whim for a friend. it flowed so fast that I got excited and really didn't do much editing to it. and I think I ended up going back twice and pulling it down after it was posted and doing rewrites. Sometimes you just want to share what you wrote so much patience kinda is a non existant idea.
I am very glad you didn't have a traffic accident while trying to kick yourself(you created a pretty funny mental image there) you mentioned how you usually wait and mull over the why's of the character's decisions and how you usually do the extensive editing and generally spend the time on creating connective plot points/devices to transition from one plot point to the next. You're not the only one to have made mention of how you actually do the process of writing. I find it fascinating. would you consider maybe starting a discussion about the process behind the fic writing. just at some future point. I have been thinking about it. but haven't really come up with something to start a discussion with yet. If I do, I would love for you to participate. It's one of the things I wanted to do at the comm. the writing process is so fascinationg and the different ways we do things as well as the odd similarities just seems to beg to have an analytical discussion/share session. k, sorry, you got me all thinky. gonna shut it and just say thanks for letting me share and thanks for being so nice and BIG thanks for always telling your great stories.

I still think this is one of the best spn fics I've read. Eagerly awaiting more.

And I agree about the blood scene being iffy - I like Kate's idea of it being an accident somehow and making the humour functional...hmmm...*muses*

yeah the made up terms - took me forever to figure out what the heck everyone was saying. Now I'm so used to all the terms I let em slip in regular conversations and I get lots of HUH?? and then i explain and I get that computer geek look. *frowns* think I'll have that beer now.

And I'm totally the same - fan-lingo and RL don't mix well, and unfortuantely I'm the only person I know (in RL) who reads fanfiction so it's all quite tragic really.
And with the concrit, I didn't sayt this before but when I said I didn't think you were doing anything wrong what I should've said was that your doing everything right, so keep doing it. I think mmarinov said something along those lines too. So it's all good! Yay concrit!
Ok, enough time for bed. - Kate

But if you want me too. Yeah. I can go through some of our past converstions, some I've had with other writer's, some of my own thoughts and maybe write an essay of sorts on the topic and try and get the ball rolling. I definitely am willing to try knowing you'd be willing to respond and participate, because that's the biggest concern when trying to do something like that. The wonder if anyone will get involved. So yeah, cool. hmmmm. *digs on the coolness of you for a while*
