Did you pass on my details to your coworker? :P

We should discuss BJJ sometimes, maybe share a trick or two!

Mind you, all I've been adding recently has come from Saulo's BJJ Revolution Set... it's added a certain amount of finesee to my game now I feel where I use technique ( ... )

I'm queen of the elbow escape. I almost never bridge and roll, I'll fake a bridge/pop my hips up a little to get them worried... just to set up the elbow escape. But, an actual bridge and roll almost never....I really should because I shouldn't rely just on one move, but I'm good at it...so I've just never forced myself to do anything else consistently.

So are you just training gi now? Or both?

Yes, it's quite hot here! especially with my hair being long, I'm going to get it cut because it's a nightmare to train in the gi with this hair.

what's up with the gi hate going around? mind you, with summer fast approaching i am becoming more and more keen on no-gi. :)

Well, I don't think it's applicable to my climate. We get 90 degree weather about 94% of the time and 99% humidity. Everyone walks around in tee-shirts...shorts... or tee shirts and blue jeans. No one wears jackets heavy enough to bother with gi tricks and treats... it's not applicable for mma, who wears a gi in mma (other than judo guys)? If its not the way I'm planning to fight, and it's not the way I'm planning to compete, and it's not the way I dress when I'm walking around (for street self defense) why waste my time with it when I could spend my time learning things that will work for my climate, interests, and needs? Who needs a gi in Houston? What I need is a list of practical uses of chain wallets for rednecks with cowboy boots :-D
