I could talk about things that suck...
or how some of my predictions were WAY more optimistic than reality...
or actual progress or anything of the sort...
but instead I'll just talk about how intense a partying week this week (my antepenultimate one in LA) will be: in addition to the Whimsic Alley party Thursday night (DH2 release: getting back around 4 AM most likely) and the Farmer's Market festival in 3rd and Fairfax on Tuesday night (5-9 PM), I got invited yesterday to two more parties involving people in my year in the UCLA program: one in 15 hours (Sunday night - a happy hour in Palms at a famous burger place) and then one on Friday night (a 3rd floor party... even though we all have LONG SINCE left the third floor).
In essence, that's a big party every other day (in addition to my teaching load and - most likely - revisions #5 to my paper)...
