Ugh. Been fighting with our new router all evening. Which is to say, looking at various settings and seeing nothing wrong, unplugging things to reset them and replugging them, and absolutely nothing happening.
We upgraded the firmware on the router last night, and since then, the VoIP box we use for our phone service has refused to connect to the internet. It reaches the point where it's looking for the IP address, and nothing. My Palm will no longer even find the network. It looks, and finds nothing. Nothing I've seen online helps, and there don't seem to be any settings out of place. Both our desktop and laptop are connecting without a problem. It's just the strangest thing, and I've no idea how to fix it.
I foresee a factory reset in its future. For now, tomorrow evening I'm going to faff around with what's connected to what and connect the VoIP box straight to the modem and router to that. At least, then, we'll get phone calls.
