Balloons!

So, balloon fiesta on Tuesday. Now, I'm not sure what I expected. Apparently it's the biggest hot air ballooning event in the world. But there were balloons. Lots of balloons.

These are great! I don't think they're poor quality at all, cameraphone or not.

Lovely :)

Well, those were out of 60 taken. What I really want is one of these, but quad-band and with a vibrate option (why would you leave that off a phone in this day and age?).

Beats me. I worry that Nokia has lost the plot a bit lately. They were the Apple of the phone world in terms of user experience, but they do seem hell-bent on throwing that away :-/

They've never had a vibrate feature, at least no one I've ever known who had one had the vibrate feature.

Really? Most people I know (me included) have had a couple of Nokias and they've all had a vibrate option. Bizarre!

*shrugs* I definitely know that the Nokia model that was *hugely* popular here about five years ago [err, all I know is that it was the one you could get a zillion different faceplates for] didn't have one because the guy I was dating then had one. And I've known other people who've had them who've complained about the lack of vibrate feature.

Maybe just a difference in our respective markets. *shrug*

Or, I suspect more likely, a perceived difference in our markets which has been one of the reasons Nokia has tanked so badly in recent years.
