Read the whole story. Never mind that the Israelis estimate is 2-3 years, and the US' own recent report on the subject said 10 years. I read a report yesterday, in amongst some of the leftwing blogosphere hysteria on Hersh's latest, suggesting that Bush might order an attack on Iran in about 2 weeks. I thought it was insane. But today, we have a suggestion that Iran might have a nuke in 16 days. And given the US has a policy of preventing Iran from gaining a nuclear weapon...
Of course, it's all bullshit. There is categorically no way that Iran could have a nuclear bomb so soon. Also, even this report points out that they're not making highly enriched uranium. Even this state department official confirms that. But watch to see where this goes.
