Sweet. Thanks. And hey, I got to give you credit for getting in the ring. You wanted to do something, you trained hard, and you did it. Better than anything I do. I hope you do better next time.

And not that I know anything about fighting, but you just looked really nervous during that. Maybe I'm just not used to seeing people run around that fast, I don't know.

I was very nervous, but that is also my style, fast in, fast out.

That's about 50 seconds longer than I ever spent in a ring, or ever will.

I do think you're a LEETLE bit crazy trying this for the first time at 31, but fuck it - sometimes a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

My first time in was at age 36. If you're in shape it ain't bad.

1. You have been trained solidly, your hands were up the entire time, you weren't lazy or anything.

2. A replacement at the last minute? I call foul. That ain't cool. Of course, amateur fighting seems full of crap like that, I have personally gotten the ringer before, and I've seen friends get subjected to that stuff as well.

3. Kudos to you for getting in there. VERY few people have the balls to actually get in the ring. Keep it up, it was a solid first effort. (FWIW, my first fight I spend most of it with blood streaming out my nose, it was pretty spectacular.)
