recently i haven't been listening to my cute boys. sacrilegious, i know. maybe it's a sign i'm growing old.
flying JAL instead of SQ allowed me access to a fully japanese entertainment system and exposed me to some interesting music. i found a compilation of duets by this person called 稲垣潤一 (whom i later found out from my sensei is more popular amongst the mid- to late-30s and early 40s. ah. there it is. i'm really growing old.)(^^;)
i listened to them the whole flight to and from. and fell in love with these 2 songs.

i've always been a fan of sad love songs (and these really are SAD) and i really love the melodies. and it sort of reminded me that while johnnies are pretty, can dance really well and are great to look at, they are entertainers, not singers, and their music reflects this.
real music should be able to move you this way.
