Dear Friends,
Wow, what a day! I guess one of the most interesting parts was when my Women and the Bible professor told the class that Saturday is the Sabbath (for which they should thank for having a weekend), and the Bible is not about getting to heaven - Kingdom of Heaven is only used in the gospel of Mark, and most of the time mainstream Christians transliterate ‘kingdom of God’ to heaven. It is not the same. I was amazed, but I still know that I must be careful about what I allow myself to believe coming from him. Marty reminded me that he may be a tool that Satan can use to confuse me - I can definitely see that too. Please pray that I stay strong, and use what is good and discard what is not good.
Other than that, I got the chance to paint last night, and it was a lot of fun to hang out with church people again - it was the home of a young couple from our local church area moving into my college town. I really miss all of you though, and miss having people to hang out with all the time. I hope to talk to many of you soon. Happy Sabbath!!!
Lotsa Love,
Mary
