Dear Friends,
Well, its been almost a week since I came home from ABC. I really miss everyone, but I’ve been busy doing things and trying to get some rest as well. I had a few appointments over the last week, which has taken some time, and yesterday I went with my dad to see an Aeros’ game - they are the AA team for the Indians. We won, of course, and it was fun. I actually kept a scorecard, which was interesting. It was cool to compare stats and stuff like that, being the math geek I am. J I also went with my dad Wednesday to see his ‘wildlife’ property, which was cool. I hadn’t been there in a while.
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone in my home congregation tomorrow - I haven’t seen them since Pentecost. Of course, for many of my ABC classmates its been much longer than that.
I went back over a sermon of Mr. Kilough’s recently on having a sense of urgency in our daily lives. Being as young as I am, I have a feeling of invincibility and forget that even if not all of prophecy is being fulfilled just yet, and thus the end of human government on earth in my life. I do need to draw closer to God each and every day with that in mind.
Happy Sabbath!
Lotsa Love,
Mary
Last Week’s Scripture: “Say to them: ‘As I live’, says the Lord GOD, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his ay and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’ EZEK. 33:11
Scripture of the Week: “For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it beings with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?”
