Dear Friends,
Happy Sabbath! Wow, another week has passed. I find that I really need to take Paul’s philosophy to heart and be happy in whatever situation I am in, especially when some difficulties are my own fault, like not getting enough sleep. Work continues, and its going pretty well, though I wish I were not working quite as much.
The GCE was really nice, I was able to see Mary Ann and her parents and many other elders. I missed some of them though, and I wish I could have talked to them. Actually, you probably know who you are!  I think we had some great messages, and people enjoyed the music at the hall, but I’m sorry the quality was not good for those of you on the webcast or on phone hookup. One sad part was learning of the illness of Mr. Jim Springer. They are a wonderful family. Please keep him in your prayers, as he has multiple myloma, which effects his bones, and they definitely need a miracle. Any and all prayers will be greatly appreciated. Also, I just found out that one of the members of my sister church, Columbus, Dave Seifert, died somewhat suddenly yesterday. His family could use prayers as well.
Lotsa Love,
Mary

Last Week’s Scripture:: “O Israel, return to the Lord your God, for you have stumbled because of your iniquity; take words with you, and return to the Lord. Say to Him, ‘Take away all iniquity; receive us graciously, for we will offer the sacrifices of our lips’” Hosea 14:1-2

Scripture of the Week: “Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.”
