A Whole Lot of Nothing

Since it's been a while, I figured I'd post. Though, there's not very much (significant) to talk about.

Ren-fest was fun despite (or maybe even in spite of) getting stuck in Annapolis. It was definitely a memorable experience.

My search for new anime continues. I did come across a couple of interesting ones: Gun X Sword and Fate Stay Night. Not bad anime but not fantastic either. Worth a watch. Also, I've been reading the Nodame Cantabile manga and it's just as good as the anime.

I haven't been doing too much gaming lately. I still get on WoW but it's mostly for the short daily quests. I did get the headset for voice chat this weekend so that should be interesting once the technical difficulties are overcome. I play Halo 3 campaign sporadically but still no multiplayer. I did try the Bleach game for the Wii. It wasn't too bad and it's interesting to play a fighting game with the Wii controls. I'll probably keep it. I still haven't tried Metroid 3 but I'll probably keep that as well (then no more games for me until after my B-day...I've been getting a little too spendy lately).

My aunt and uncle are coming down to visit the first weekend in November. I might take a day off for it (it's been a while since I've had a day off and I think I'm overdue). They're good people and fun to be around so I'm looking forward to it.

I found out yesterday that 2 or 3 Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas have been booked for traveling this year (somewhat to my dismay). There's the obligatory Christmas show at the American Music Theater in Lancaster for one Saturday. Another Christmas show at the Living Water Theater in Lancaster the next Saturday (or maybe the previous Saturday...I don't know). And there's a possible trip to New Jersey to visit graves (planned by Brian oddly enough). Am I the only one that finds it creepy (and somewhat inappropriate) that Brian is planning a trip to visit the grave of his current wife's dead husband? Anyways, despite my hope otherwise, it looks like another busy holiday season this year. Luckily, we're cutting back on the Christmas present extravaganza this year (to help with the Hawaii cruise costs). Still, I'm finding I'm not really in the Christmas mood this year. But I guess it's still early.

Lastly, pomegranate season is back. Woot!
