The cavity I've known I've had since last May (yes, shut up, I know I should have done something about it earlier) has decided to begin making my entire right side of my jaw sore. I can not see this as anything but a bad sign as to my future diagnosis from my new dentist on Thursday. Boo... I read an article about how letting things like this go can lead to a freakin' root canal. Which I've heard is NOTHING but fun. But, seriously, I've been a little busy with things. Getting my cavity taken care of kind of fell to the wayside. 1) graduating and worrying about finding a job, 2) testing and having brain surgery, 3) lithotripsy, 4) Gamma Knife surgery. See? Been a little busy. At least that's what I'm going to say in my defense when he peers into my mouth and recoils in horror. *sigh*

I've finished the 3rd book in the Wheel of Time series. I have to admit, Jordan has me hooked in. I just wish his writing style were a little more elegant. Meh. But his story is a good one and I enjoy it. So, on to book #4! Only 9 more to go. That's probably like close to 9,000 pages. Haha... geez.

Oh yeah! My birthday came and went. I had a good one this year. I went down to Albany to have dinner with dad and Barbara. They took me to somewhere on the Ohio River. Very cool and good food besides. Leftovers! Num. Dad also got me one of those neat digital photo frame thingies. As soon as I get a memory card for it, I'm going to stick all my Europe pics on it. Whee! And, of course, I spent time with mom and Paul too. We had dinner at an awesome place called Mimi's by our new house. Oh man, that place has AWESOME food. I was only slightly disappointed when I found out it was owned by Bob Evan's. I was hoping it was a private place. Oh well. Other gifts recieved include: Guitar Hero Encore: Rockin' the 80s, Zoo Tycoon 2: Endanger Species, Diablo Battlechest, and a gag gift of a children's book about brain surgery. Haha... It's actually a very interesting little read.

Brief health update: The weight is slowly coming off. I'm now almost 15 lbs lighter than when I had my brain surgery. I'm hoping that with the new thyroid meds I'm taking, the weight will come off a bit easier. But I can't complain; as some progress is better than none. My test results about the LFTs came back fine. Just a little of fatty liver syndrome. With the weight coming off, it should fix itself. All in all (aside from the stupid cavity) I'm doing pretty decently well. And optimistic.

Well, long rant after a long absence. :) Tada.
