The Great Van Buren 2 Flood
lmao, the funniest shit went down last night. After playing Mario Kart with Brian, and I OWNED him by the way... anyways, after he went back to his room crying, I changed and went to pee. I peed in the bathroom, then as any good citizen would do, I flushed the toilet. Except this time, the toilet continued to flush. The water continues to go around and around, and the embarassing "swoosh" sound could be heard throught the suite. After literally almost peeing again because I was laughing so hard, my neighbors on both sides of my room became amused, as well as the guys in the triple. Soon after the toilet continued to flush itself, my neighbor Eric decided to make a boat out of a paper plate with a fork sticking straight out of it. This was quite amusing. He placed it in the toilet, and 6 guys gathered around the toiled to watch it go in circles. (By this time Tim had wondered over to see what was going on.)
I volunteered my little plastic Spongebob to go in the toilet and be the captain of the ship. We were concerned he would get sucked down the toilet, so instead we set him on the back of the toilet instead. We all took a break from the excitement, and when we gathered back again Spongebob was gone! He got sucked down the toilet. lmao. After we were like, "What the hell? Where is he?" The toilet began to overflow. At this point, I called the front desk and they said they would send someone up right away. Ok, that's cool. By the time the guy got up here 30 minutes later, he asked if the toilet was overflowing, and left. The water had not reached the carpet yet. It was still in the bathroom. By the time workers showed up to fix it, my RA was over here, and the water was all over the place, including in the triple. Then at 3am, BSW's came to shop vac all the water up. I didn't fall asleep until almost 4am. I dragged my ass out of bed at 9am for class, wasnt fully awake through it all, then came home, went back to sleep and missed my 2pm class. I talked to my professor at 4, and she was cool with it.
The MORAL of my story is.. When you pee, dont flush the toilet, cause this kinda shit happens! (No pun intended) You can see the pictures of the Van Buren 2 flood by clicking the following link:
