Mother Sky is finally free...
After a brief battle with complications from a recent fall, and a longer one with Alzheimer's, my mom is finally free of the confusion and frustration of her disease.
As of 4:30 or so this morning she left us behind, with relief, knowing that she doesn't have to suffer any more with the debilitating effects of Alzheimer's.
I wanted to post this for my flisters because you've all been such a comfort, providing entertainment and distractions, not to mention support while I've cared for mom.
Thank you...all of you...for being the best flisters a girl can have!!
