I blame Em for dragging me into the dark world of spec fic.
And Ms. Mohtar for keeping me there ("Damascus..." and "And Their Lips Rang..." specifically).
And my desire for good fiction and lovely jewelry for my wife.
That having been said, my literary friends, I'd like to direct you to a post by upstart_crow , who has put together an anthology called Steam-Powered: Lesbian Steampunk Stories.
Now, I could insert a typical male WASP comment like, "'Nuff said!".
But, really. I've gotten to read some of these authors over the last month. And. They. Are. Amazing. Worried that spec fic is nothing but Potters and Military Sci Fi? Think again.
