But who knows? Maybe that’ll change in season four.

I'd say there's a chance of that, once he gets past shock on his reaction to Rose coming back. I WANT JOY!!! And hugging, and kissing, and riding off into the sunset where there will be more joy for years to come (I mean, when they have kids, I see the Doctor in serious joy mode).

But even so, TDD moment is also a great moment.

I’d say there's a chance of that, once he gets past shock on his reaction to Rose coming back.

It might be quieter than the “Everybody lives!” scene. (Part of me hopes it’ll be quieter-David Tennant is so much more convincing when he’s quiet.) But other than that, yes-I think the reunion scene is going to set a new high-water mark for the series. And that’s fantastic.

I mean, when they have kids, I see the Doctor in serious joy mode.
