I am done as a Cub/Boy scout leader after 19 years.
I can truthfully say I always did my best.
My job position as a Bear leader ended in June when the boys moved up in Rank.
I was asked to move on to a position on the committee.
Last night I went to The Committee meeting looking forward to my new job.
Half way through the meeting I was informed that I would not be allowed to be a member of the committee until the new charter in Jan.
In the past we have (for 19 years) moved over and did the work even if Chartered as something else.
It seems that even though the rules are bent and broken all the time for others they are being followed for me.
So I am done.
