My favorite shot of the set is the one that best shows off the beauty of Lillie's decor and the three steampunk ladies. The willowy lady in the foreground looks like the pre-Raphaelite model Lizzie Siddall, and if I'm not mistaken, PRBH was the inspiration for her clothing.
A lively group with
hatofhornigold at far left and
dmp at far right. Topics of discussion included Oscar Wilde, Doctor Who, and Are Cats Steampunk? (answer: yes)
sovereignann's visit to NYC was a partial motivator to get something together for the 24th. Incidentally she looks like Clara Bow.

hatofhornigold looking like she just emerged from the TARDIS and into the mysterious land of neo-Victorianism.

Steampunk gents - they do exist!
exfish on the left and ... anyone know the other?

sovereignann was the lucky winner of two tickets to the
Tim Burton exhibit at the MoMA. I was very happy that our guest from Texas won a prize to enhance her vacation in NYC.
Camera-shy
kittiethedragon was once again group photographer
The group shot in front of Lillie's, showing about 2/3 of the guests who attended the social.
In conclusion,
mlleviolet ,
kittiethedragon ,
hatofhornigold , and Orli strolled over to Petco to donate the raffle proceeds to Kitty Kind. We raised $62 to help homeless kitties! I am pictured presenting the donation to the
Kitty Kind volunteer. Thanks to all who generously bought raffle tickets to support abandoned and stray kitties in need, and of course thank you all for turning out for our relaxing Afternoon at the Pub.
