I had a job interview in Willmar on Thursday for a translation position with a robotics company that deals with just hatched poultry. I think the interview went pretty well, and I'll find out late next week, as they have one other girl to interview. As I needed to stay somewhere, and it just happened to be Homecoming weekend, I stuck around, saw

Ok, I didn't do the best job of writing tonight. You can either put it down to lack of practice or tiredness, I don't care which. So, this is a robotics firm in Willmar that has just one product. The machine takes recently, hours old chicks and innoculates and humanely debeaks the chicks(cool radiation machines!). There are two downsides. First, the job is part time, and very sporadic. Second, the time offered is so little that I will be continuing to look for a job, one that offers benefits. On the upside, the translation, at least right away is onsite in France, so I would have an expenses paid trip back to France, and to Laval, where I was stationed last year. It's pretty sweet. If they offer it, I'll take it, but will still be on the lookout for something else.

My dad showed me the news story in the Strib this morning about the kid dying; such a shame. I hope you get the sweet job, and that your job search continues to go well.

Yeah, I saw it in the paper this morning. What a tragedy. I can't really think of anything else to say. Actually, I'm kind of glad I'm not at Morris right now. It must be tough. I hope you're doing ok.
