I has sprouts... and an xbox.
I seeded my "must haves" like basil and tomatoes about ten days ago. I am now living in fear that we will wake up hanging from the ceiling by cucumber vines. I have never had a batch of cucumber grow this quickly. They are literally bigger every time I look at them. All the better for scary mutant pickle-making.
James has quit smoking. *knock on wood* Apparently the best way to get someone who has no interest in quitting to stop smoking is to bet them $500 they can't. I told him after one month I'd give him the money, but he has to repay me if he starts up again. He "borrowed" against that amount to buy an xbox this weekend, ostensibly to have something to distract himself with. Kind of win-win. He doesn't stink and I get to play Halo3.
On the downside, he'll have outgrown the last two pairs of pants that fit him by the end of the month at the rate he's eating, but you can buy a lot of clothes for the $200 a month he was spending on being a junkie.
