Started knitting a vest. It's not like I have a pattern or know what I'm doing or anything, it's just I have the arrogance to believe I can make it up as I go along. We'll see what comes of this folly. It has magenta, pink, and lavender stripes, and lets hope I don't run out of yarn before I can get at least the front of it done.
I'm so shitty I won't be allowed to bring knitting needles on the plane! I'm going to be in so many planes, and I'd be able to get so much done! It's so stupid- they don't stop people bringing pens onto planes, and you can stab people with those- in fact didn't I read that one of those Sept 11 terrorists did exactly that? I thought I might be able to argue a case for allowing circular, plastic needles onto the plane, but then I remembered that those could be used to garotte somebody. Similar to shoelaces, though they don't take those off people... ah, don't get me started. Soon I'll be sending letters of support to Rex Hunt!
I'm going to visit Liat for lunch today, and then I might go see a tight-arse Tuesday movie. Either that or head over to Borders and read all their magazines for two hours. Oooh, maybe they'll have the new Bust? It's been getting a bit lame lately but I still get excited when I know it's coming out!
