I am such a dumbarse. I forgot I had the Melbourne Theatre Company play tonite and I stood Liat up. She called just when I got home, and it was too late to go back into the city. Do you think this is weird- she then said she wasn't going to go in on her own. I feel really bad and I'm going to call her back and apologise profusely again when I'm sure she'll have arrived home, but I thought spitting the dummy and missing it completely was a bit lame. But I do feel just terrible- that play is sold out! I've been gnashing my teeth over my stupidity for the last half-hour.
