It is ridiculously hot.

Despite the heat, I got out twice on Saturday - once to work out and once to have an fairly disappointing cheat meal at a seafood restaurant, Rockfish. I wish I could come up there now, but I have almost no vacation time left. Next year, though, I would like to visit in the spring or early summer. Partly to see you and David and the puppies, but also there's an amusement park not too far from you that I'd like to go to, Lake Compounce.

I didn't do so well on the pushups yesterday. I didn't even try regular pushups and just did some girlie pushups. But I'll try again tomorrow.

I think your other journal is sheharazade08 or something... Can't remember, but I added this one to my friends so you can see my friends-locked posts if you sign in. This LJ is definitely the best way to keep up with what I'm doing from day to day. I need to post in it more than once or twice a week, though.

I'll try to think of some jumpstarting ideas. It takes more than one meal, though. Usually it's recommended that you switch to maintenance for 3 - 4 days and then the jumpstarting takes and you can start losing again. I know you're in a hurry, but the whole process takes patience and time. :( You could also check your carb to protein/fat ratio. From what I understand, lots of people do really well on a 40% carb/30% protein/30% fat ratio of calories.
