Ladies: Yeah, Lacey and Sabra was pretty much what I thought would happen.
I did think there was some possibility Lauren might make it over Lacey, because there is Schwimmer-hatred out there on the net and Lacey's turned in some fairly lackluster performances lately. But I thought it was more likely it would turn out the way it did. I would have been shocked out of my mind if Sabra hadn't made it. She's been the pick for win from the show since the top 20 started performing.
Men: Whoah! That was shocking! I figured Danny and Pasha, or possibly Neil and Pasha because there is a fairly large contingent of ballet-haters and folks who bought into the Danny-is-arrogant bs. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that Pasha wouldn't make it to the final.
Which may have been exactly the problem -- I think no one expected he wouldn't, so there might have been some voter complacency. In other words, Pasha is the SYTYCD version of Melinda.
If I were a true conspiracy theorist about this particular show, I'd say that was done to ensure one of the two ladies, and more likely Sabra, wins this thing. But I'm more inclined to go with the voter complacency theory.
Pasha fans, I wasn't supporting him, really (I wasn't supporting anyone), but I'm sorry you're not going to get to see him in the finale. *hugs to you all*
My call for the win: Sabra walks away with it, easily, whether it was planned from the beginning or just happens that way.
Hell's Kitchen
Yeah. No surprises there whatsoever. Congratulations, Rock. You are the best of this season's donkeys.
