I had no idea there was anything wrong with Mia’s jacket on Wednesday, except that it looked horribly uncomfortable and made her shoulders look even bigger and more hunched than usual. I figured Stacy and Clinton would have ripped it off her. Also, the color was too dark for her and thus made her look harsh and chunky and overweight. I don’t think that’s what got the Marines riled up, though.
Nigel’s been taking fauxpology lessons from heidi8 I think. And he shouldn’t have bothered. If he was going to apologize for the solos, it should have been because the concept for that particular dance was lame, not because it was about peace.
Bottom 4 wasn’t terribly surprising. It is very sad to me that Dominic stayed and Kameron left, as Kameron is good eye candy and has some dance training, whereas Dominic is not eye candy at all and is just good at spinning on his head. But whatever, he’ll be gone next week, I suspect. He’s sort of the Billy Ray Cyrus of this competition. The BOH want him to stay long than that, and for Neil to leave, but IMO that is because they have an extreme prejudice against heterosexual men that I simply don’t understand. But that’s been going on since the beginning of this competition.
Regarding the girls’ elimination, all I can say is: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Priceless!!!!! The show put on by the BOH afterwards was just lovely! That is, until it descended into bigotry and anti-Semitism. I didn’t have any respect for the BOH at TWOP to begin with, but they aren’t usually quite that offensive. After reading derogatory remarks about her due to her “Jewish last name” I really, really do want her to win. I think I may even start voting, and campaigning for votes for her, just ‘cause.
