I’m always amused when other people tell stories like this, so I thought I’d share mine. Way back when I was working on my sister’s birthday present, I joined her high school class’ yahoogroup in order to contact someone who had inadvertently given me an incorrect email address. I never unsubscribed

Real life is way more interesting when fandom is involved, isn't it? :) If I'd had fanfic to share with friends in high school, I'd probably have had worse grades, but it would've been worth it :)

It sure is! I think I would have played hookey less if I had known there was fanfic being passed around out school. ;)
