That is one wonderfully down-to-earth guy. And I love that he’s really into reading and done well enough with school but isn’t super-obsessively brainy and wants to take some time off.
And then he goes and brings the logic:
"I don't see any reason why you shouldn't bring kids because of people taking their clothes off, or because of violence to horses.
But - and I don't want to insult the intelligence of children - really, a play about the nature of psychiatry? Do you think a five-year-old would be interested?"

The Pacifier
The disk I got from Netflix was so messed up it wouldn’t play after I cleaned it twice according to their directions. In fact, when I first put it in, and then again after I’d cleaned it once, my DVD player rejected it, saying it was a no-good, dirty disk!
After two cleanings, I finally managed to watch about 15 minutes of it before its messed-upness made it just impossible. And by then I was so bored with it that I didn’t care. I reported it damaged, told them not to bother to send me another copy of it and sent it back.

10 Weird Things About Me
1. I am a horrible procrastinator. I think I get off on the adrenaline rush of almost not getting things done in time.
2. All my dvds are very carefully organized, by actor-I-lust-after and then alphabetically.
3. Almost all of my teaspoons have gone missing. I have no idea where they’ve gone. I spent an entire evening looking for replacements for them. I could only find really boring airline/cafeteria sets of 36 teaspoons or entire place settings. I finally remembered Replacements does have stainless and ended up ordering a dozen assorted interesting spoons.
4. I wish my writing style were completely different.
5. I sometimes color, with crayons in coloring books.
6. I do not have a cell phone. I think I’m going to have to get one soon, though, and I’m very sad about that.
7. I love my condo, but I often wish I lived in the country and had an old manor house with a country garden. Or maybe a cute cottage with a cottage garden.
8. I wish I had spent a lot more time with my grandmother, aunt, and mother when I still could and asked them more questions about their lives and our family.
9. I am completely intimidated by a heck of a lot of y’all.
10. If I could bend the physical universe to my will, I would. I’d go back in time. I’d run around outer space. I’d be two people at once. The fictional universes I love would become real, and I would visit them, often and sometimes for long periods of time. I would experience literally everything good, neutral or unknown I could possibly imagine. And I would take you with me if you wanted to come.

E. That happy hour by the lake we didn’t get to see in HBP
F. (Cause I always want more than they allow) Any Harry teaching the D.A. scene from OotP, cause Teacher!Harry Edited and ZOMG I can't believe I didn't finish this sentence... rocks my world!
2. What are your 4 favorite creatures?
Eh. I don’t like most of the creatures. But okay.

I think that’s probably not how I was supposed to answer, but I really don’t care much about the creatures in Hagrid’s classes.
3. Who are your 3 favorite Weasleys?
Ginny, Ron and Gred and Forge as 1 character. I hate being restricted. I want to add Molly, Arthur, Bill and Charlie to the list, too. And Harry! ;)
4. What are your 2 favorite Hogwarts houses?
Gryffindor and Ravenclaw.
5. Which is your 1 favorite HP film?
It’s probably going to end up being HBP or DH, but since those haven’t been made yet, I guess OotP. Except I haven’t seen that yet, so for now, CoS.
I am at skip 740. I’m giving up.
I was going to put up more Nina Simone links this weekend, and didn’t get anything online done at all. I will try for tonight or tomorrow.
