D, TV, Quizzie Thingy, Organizing

D and I watched Nature on PBS last night. It was all about “big” cats, only some of them weren’t so big. D doesn’t always pay attention to the TV, but he did last night, at least during the parts about big cats. He watched the lions, cheetahs and leopards with rapt attention. The serval and caracal, though, he ignored. I guess he prefers to identify with the bigger kitties.

This morning, he was very clingy - didn’t want me to get out of bed and then came in the bathroom while I was finishing getting ready. He’s never done this before, but he jumped up on the toilet and started trying to get into it. Never mind that he has two nice water bowls elsewhere in the condo. I was very worried he was going to fall in. Fortunately, he has kitty balance and agility and did not.

We also watched Masterpiece Theater’s The Virgin Queen. I think it’s continued next week. It’s very, very good.

Erm, no surprises here. I probably shouldn’t have bothered to take it. *sigh*

Dysfunctional
You scored 87 Abuse and 94 Effect of abuse!

Simply put, yes, you had one fucked up life and its left its mark. Drunken Christmas Eve's, dads leather belt, kneeling on broomsticks, that friendly uncle who was a little too friendly...people treated you with less love and respect than you deserved. If its any consolation, I'm angry enough to send some bad vibes their way. No one likes a bully, so remember this was not your fault. Besides, nothing is set in stone. The most important thing is that you become your own person, capable of love and bliss- by your own definition.

My test tracked 2 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 99% on Abuse

You scored higher than 99% on Effect of abuse

Bliss. Hahahahahahaha!

Onward.

In good news, I worked on budgeting this weekend - mostly trying to figure out what categories I need. And I got a bunch of things accomplished around the house. I spent some money Friday night, but it was on organizational supplies and heavy duty trash bags, so I can get rid of a whole lot of paper that is cluttering up my life. I haven’t started yet, but it feels good to know I’m going to.
