I've sent the following to the Dallas Morning News, my local newspaper, and to the Prez and Veep at the whitehouse email address. I'm going to send it to my local PBS station, as well. If you have any other ideas where I should send it, please let me know

I've sent this to both president@whitehouse.gov and vice_president@whitehouse.gov.

I got standard form email-confirmations in reply, so far. I hope that someone on Bush and/or Cheney's staff actually reads them and replies, but I'm not holding my breath.

I don't know if they read emails. They definitely have people read all the paper mail they get, but I think they usually just send a "thanks for writing" postcard in reply.
