I like this job that I am currently doing right now. I like it because I am getting paid and updating LJ whilst talking over GoogleTalk to James.
It's lovely.
And when James has to go do real things and I get sick on the internet, I have The Memoirs of Catherine the Great to read! So awesome. With working overnights here up nestled in the West Hills, there are some really great views as dawn approaches, too, so that's a perk.
All in all it's a pretty sweet gig - it will be nice to keep it as an on-call job, especially to help pay for this. I'm meeting with the event coordinator on Monday to go over details and see if it's even feasible as a reception site. Oh idea - Doug Fir catering plus some sushi from Mio or SushiMaki or Meeka. A little out of the box, but we can make our wedding whatever we want it to be, right? It's nice to be looking at real life details, not just fantasy stuff.
