So, I'm attending the Toronto Internation Film Festival for the second time in as many years. Last year I only saw 7 or 8 movies. This year I took two Fridays off work, and my confirmed (tickets in hand) schedule follows. I must say that Sunday was my most enjoyable day thus far. Three excellent films in a row. (The first three, if you're wondering).
Saturday I ran into a girl I went to grade school with. She was directly behind me in a queue which was probably about 600 people long. I turned around and said "This may be a strange question, but is your name by any chance D---?". I was nearly certain by that point that it was her, but I was cushioning the question as I would hate to look foolish. I haven't seen her, well, since grade school. She looked the same, just older. She was a few grades behind me, but always a cool chick. We went to douance together. Our little brothers were and adorable pair of best friends and we often met at their soccer games. She's an engineering grad now. Eep!
I'm too tired right now to even.. bah.. here's the url for the festival. Check it out. Quite a selection.
