Last day of school today.
I don't think it has fully sunk in yet. It feels like the middle of March or something, instead of the end of the school year.
It's been such a great year, with all my friends and teachers and new aquaintances. Maybe that's why I'm so...stunned. Or sad, even. This year was SO MUCH WORK and incredibly CRAZY that I really can't believe it's over...*sad face*
I finished all my finals last week so during the last few days of school we did nothing in class but watch movies, sleep, or talk with each other.
And hey, I finally learned how to play chess in AP U.S. History! *is happy* 'Course, my friend kept beating me but it was fun. More people should learn to play chess, IMO. It's seriously cool. Yes, I think chess is super cool. I am a geek. Proud of it too, babe.
Anyways.
Gah, it felt so much like a regular school day. I don't think anyone in our school really does a countdown until the bell rings and then toss their homework in the air and then bursts out the doors cheering like mad. You guys have seen the "last day of school" scene in Grease, right? Yeah. That's definitely not us!
