how can you miss someone who isn't gone?

Hospice was at grandma's house today and said that my grandpa only has a few days left. I just wish I could spend his last few days with him but I have to work all weekend. I could call in but that just makes things mre difficult for everyone.

I don't know what to do anymore suddenlynothing matters and all i do is cry.
